From Tim |
Favorite Memory: My favorite memory is all the overnight tournaments that we had just hanging out with all the wrestlers.
Comments: I Hope to keep in touch with all the seniors over the years and will come back to visit the Apex team.
Future Plans: I plan to attend either Western Carolina or ECU and pursue a career in Athletic Training |

From Coach Duncan |
Favorite Memory: Seeing how Tim fought through pain and difficulty his first year was great. I was pretty confident he wouldn't be back after that rough first year, but he couldn't be held back. He has worked hard and made himself a much better wrestler.
Comments:I have enjoyed having Tim on the team for 4 years. Tim has always been willing to do whatever I have asked of him and is a great young man. I know he will do well in whatever he takes on in life, because he won't give up. I hope the best for Tim next year and I look forward to seeing where life takes him.

From Mom & Dad |
Favorite Memory: One of our favorite memories was Tim's first varsity win against SE Raleigh in the Falcon Frenzy his Sophomore year. We had spent the previous season watching Tim regularly get twisted like a pretzel and losing every match he wrestled, most in the first period. We will always remember the look on his face as he came off the mat after that win. It was both a look of joy from winning his first match and revelation that he really could do this sport. I think we will also remember the first time he came home with a shaved head.
Comments: We are very proud of what Tim has accomplished in his four years on the team. After his Freshman season no one would have blamed him if he decided this wasn't the sport for him and quit. Instead, he worked very hard lifting weights and going to Coach Duncan's offseason workouts. It has been a pleasure the past three years watching the fruits of all that hard work pay off as Tim developed in to a pretty good wrestler. |
