2008 Seniors: Josh Suter - 171

From Josh

Favorite Memory: When Kyle Johnson would bust out his jokes on the bus rides. It made them bearable.

Humorous Memory: Looking back, the best one I can think of was when Coover licked Ben Ray's elbow. The seniors know what I'm talking about.

Comments: I just want to thank Coach Duncan and Coach Little for always being there for me and the boys.

Future Plans: I plan on going to ECU for four years, and getting a degree in Communications. After that I plan on joining the Air Force.

From Coach Duncan

Favorite Memory: I remember Josh's freshman year when we were wrestling at SSS. He was wrestling a match that was key to us winning and he kept taking really bad shots on the guy. However, he never gave up and kept driving the guy all the way across the mat. I think he eventually won the match and we won as a team.

Comments: I have enjoyed coaching Josh for these 4 years. I have seen him grow physically, but even more importantly as a leader. I know the lessons and struggles he has had in wrestling will help him as he goes on with life. I look forward to seeing where life takes Josh and wish him the best!

From Mom & Dad

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory has been driving the Suter Van. I really enjoyed getting to know the guys on the team. Showing up at the school at 5:30 in the morning and trying to follow coach Duncan in the mini bus was not always easy, yet it was an experience I will not forget. Trying to make it through the yellow lights was the most exciting. The smell, the snoring, the laughter, and the quiet time from pure exhaustion. And of course the question always being asked... " Mom, Do you have any food, or gatorade?"

Comments: It has been a true pleasure for his Dad and myself watching Joshua play sports in high school. Freshman year, he made the varsity wrestling team and made the JV baseball team. He then continued on the varstiy wrestling team and was recruited for the JV lacrosse team! His senior year has been the best so far with varsity wrestling. Varsity lacrosse this spring will be very exciting as well.
