2008 Seniors: Jon Young - 285

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory was winning my first match against the Athens Drive heavyweight.

Humerous Memory: My most humorous moment was at the beggining of my junior year, the first year on the team, I experienced what a Pink Belly was with Matt Smith leaving his hand print on my stomach for several days.

One day it was very cold and many of the guys were waiting for their parents, locked out of the building because coach had an appointment. The guys squeeze into my truck sitting all over each other telling each other to tighten up. We stayed warm! It just stunk for a couple of days. Gotta love the guys.

Comments: I want to thank my teammates and coaches for a wonderful two years on the team even though this year didn't turn out as good as it was suppose to missing majority of the year with a shoulder injury. For the underclassmen keep that Cougar Pride going!

Future Plans: I hope to attend either university of North Carolina or App. State.

Comments:I have enjoyed coaching Jon for the last 2 years. He is a great guy and always did whatever was asked of him. I know he will do well next year and I wish him the best!

Favorite Memory: As Jonathan's mother the one particular moment that everyone more than likely remembers is being new seeing Jonathan wrestle for his first time, I burst out crying!!The other parents were very supportive smiling saying it was going to be okay.
