2008 Seniors: Brian Davis - 135

From Brian

Favorite Memory: Searching the Chapel Hill streets for candy with Jordan at 9:00 at night at UNC wrestling camp. We went through a dark forest and got horrible directions from some guy holding a crate of strawberry's. Then we were almost attacked by some midnight soccer gang and we had to run back to the dorms before 10:30 or we would be locked out...we never did find any candy.

Humerous Memory: I remember making fun of the coaches when they said something funny in practice. Example: Coach Duncan suddenly being in love with the word, "battle" and Coach Little saying, "because i'm nasty." Also, wondering if Coach Duncan's sweet tea addiction is healthy or not.

Comments: I'll miss being around the guys and I cant thank my coaches enough for believing in me and pushing me to get better.

Future Plans: I plan to attend NC State University or UNC Greensboro and major in Business

From Coach Duncan

Favorite Memory: Having Brian make a solid run in the Regionals last year. He really did a great job preparing and performed very well. However, I hope he wins at least one more this year!

Comments: Brian has been a great part of the team for 4 years now. He has worked very hard to become a good wrestler and his hard work has paid off. I know he will do well next year and I wish him the best!

From Mom

Comments: Brian is a very caring and kind young man. We are blessed to have him as a son and we thank the Lord for him. He is very competitive and always strives to excel. He has a strength of character that is admirable for someone his age. Brian has enjoyed his time with the wrestling team and takes pride in working with the younger wrestlers. His leadership skills are evident whether he is working at the YMCA or at wrestling.

Humorous Memory: When Brian was wrestling with Coach Little, and he barked like a small dog for some reason.
