2008 Seniors: Brad Monroe - 125

Favorite Memory: The great feeling of winning my first match in overtime against Millbrook.

Humerous Memory: Over the summer at the UNC Wrestling Camp I purposely wore State clothes. The wrestling staff there eventually got sick of it and told me to turn my shirt inside-out.

Comments: Wrestling has been one of the hardest, but most rewarding activities of my high school career and I will always look back on it with no regrets.

Future Plans: I'm still waiting to hear from my first choice N.C. State, however I've been accepted to East Carolina University and have been offered an academic scholarship to Campbell University.

Favorite Memory: I remember seeing Brad sitting in the cafeteria one day and needing a 103. I asked him to come out and he did. He has fought hard and never given up since.

Comments: It has been great to have Brad on the team for 3 years. I have coached for a long time and I have had very few guys who have persevered and kept a positive attitude like Brad in tough circumstances. I am confident he will be successful in life because of his fight and character. I look forward to seeing where life takes him and wish him the best next year!
